Howard & Friends Inc. is excited about it's relationship with the Realtor Association of Greater Miami & the Beaches to provide CMA Plus and Money Magic to RAMB'S members FREE of Charge.

To assist RAMB users in resolving issues related to CMA Plus and Money Magic on ones personal computer Howard & Friends has prepared some information to help in that process.

 

Getting Started


Instructions for Downloads

To assist you in getting started please read the information on this page in detail. This page contains the links to download the programs, instructions, tutorials and answers to common questions.

Follow these steps to to install CMA Plus & Money Magic for RAMB members

  1. Download and Install CMA Plus program to your computer
  2. Download and install Money Magic
  3. Download and OPEN the RAMB Fastrack File to set the defaults

Download & Install the Programs- This Program will be activated upon entering your name in the login

Step 1- Download and install the programs. We do not recommend downloading to the desktop but rather to your hard drive. Do this for each computer you wish to work from. Note if you are with one of the companies listed download that file rather than the std CMA program. This will give you the unique office skins for your company.

Support Issues and Questions



"I Need Help"

Howard & Friends has discovered that most issues involving tech support are really issues revolving around how to do a particular task or how to get around in the program.

We feel strongly that most issues that you may face will be more quickly resolved by watching the tutorials provided on this page. Please take a moment to watch these tutorials and if you still cannot figure out how to do something then call technical support.

How is support handled?

If you have a support question you will be directed to RAMB's help desk. They have been thoroughly trained in using CMA Plus and the common question one may typically encounter.

If RAMB's support desk cannot figure out how to handle an issue they will direct the issue to Howard & Friends who will then contact you or the help desk to resolve any issue that you may have concerning CMA Plus & Money Magic.

What is Tech Support?

Howard & Friends defines tech support as anything surrounding the functionality of the CMA Plus program on a Windows 2000/XP operating system. It does not include how to use the program in the agent's day to day business or perform a function in the program related to the practice of Real Estate.

If you have a legitimate issue with the program not functioning properly we will take care of you. If you have a problem because of a virus, incorrect settings, hardware malfunctions. operating system or other software conflicts (games your kids installed) there may be a charge.

If it is a problem associated with the CMA Plus program not functioning properly then there is NO CHARGE..otherwise there is a $39.95 charge to assist you with technical support issues. Please make sure you are at your computer and it is turned on when we schedule a time to get with you.

Note that CMA Plus has a series of binary files that allow it to connect to our servers and download the latest version of the program.

YOU MUST allow CMA PLUS to connect on all ports. If you tell your anti virus, internet security, or firewall to block CMA Plus we cannot help you until you resolve that issue. You must allow the program to connect on all ports. If you are unsure what this entails please review the documentation on connectivity issues or contact your local tech support guru for an explanation. This connectivity is much like Microsoft Windows automatic update or Norton's Live update. Howard & Friends DOES NOT collect any personal information whatsoever from your computer. NONE!!!!

If your computer cannot make an internet connection then you will need to resolve that issue prior to calling for support. Best way to tell if things are working is to connect to the internet and connect to the MLS. If you can't connect to the mls then the problem definitely revolves around your system.

Training Schedule:

Training is done on a weekly basis. This training is free but you will need to call the number to hear the training session. You will be billed your normal long distance rates for this call. We start and finish on time so be logged on and ready to go or you may miss something important to the training seminar Click here

Common Questions

Connectivity Issues: What does it mean to allow Norton Internet security to connect on all ports?.

  • CMA Plus has a series of Binary files that allow you to always have the latest version of the program installed. In order to update the program we need to let CMA Plus connect to our server and automatically update your program. You can always tell it to install upon exit so as not to interrupt your current work. By allowing your anti virus/Internet security to let CMA plus connect you will always be updated to the latest version.

 

I don't understand why I have to pay for tech support.

  • You don't need to pay for support. Only issues that relate to training that is not free . If something is wrong with the program there is no charge for any support related item. But if you call us and want us to help you with something that is not tech related then we must charge you

 

Why isn't my company listed in the Franchise license files?

  • These companies have paid a fee to have a custom report done for them. Either by the company or Franchise itself. We can make one for your company but there is a fee for this custom implementation.


I belong to other mls's. How can I get access to them as well.

  • Call 888-235-4083 to order additional MLS formats. there is a $59 charge

 



I want to use something other than Internet Explorer( I/E) as my default browser.

  • You must use Internet Explorer as the Browser. You can simply open up Internet Explorer when using CMA Plus
